KUWTK: Kylie Jenner’s Swimsuit Line Called Out For Poor Quality

Fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians are slamming Kylie Jenner for the quality of products in her latest line, Kylie Swim. Kylie's makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics, launched the mogul's meteoric rise as a businesswoman. Kylie Cosmetics is now a certified staple in the makeup industry that has broken many records since its founding in 2014. Kylie Cosmetics underwent a successful rebrand earlier this year to revamp the line with clean and vegan beauty products. The expectant mom has also branched out to baby care products with her line Kylie Baby. While public opinion has yet to come in on her baby products, Kylie's swimsuit line is being deemed by many as a major fail.

Kylie has shown off her stylish choice of bikinis on her famous figure for years. The mom can often be spotted poolside by her millions of Instagram followers. Kylie revealed her line of swimsuits on the Kylie Swim Instagram account and hinted at a retro aesthetic for the brand. It was confirmed the line would sell bathing suits, towels, beach coverups, shoes, bags and sunglasses.

Shortly after the line's launch on September 17, the hype for Kylie Swim came to a halt as fans received their products. Though Kylie makes her swimsuits look glamorous on her social media accounts, consumer reviews told a completely different story about Kylie Swim. Influencer Brianna Renee posted a viral TikTok video showing off the poor quality of her Kylie Swim haul. "So I tried Kylie Swim and..." she captioned the video. The TikToker then showed several clips of the imperfections found on her swimsuit, including torn stitching and rips in the seams. She also showed off how paper thin the bikini bottom is by holding it up to natural light. Kylie's Kylie Swim sticker tag on the inside of the suit could clearly be seen due to the fabric's thinness. Other TikTok users totally roasted the poor quality portrayed in the video. "Stormi made a few of them," one user joked about Kylie's 3-year-old daughter, Stormi. "Looks like you got one of those special few."

Other commenters slammed billionaire Kylie for selling cheap products to her large market of fans. "The wealthiest celebrities are also the cheapest," one TikToker commented. Many users compared the product quality to fast-fashion brands that sell their clothes at a low rate. "Don't give this billionaire a dime," one user urged viewers. "She's making schlock for all the wannabe suckers." TikTok users also pointed out the unrealistic design of Kylie's bikinis, arguing the extreme low-coverage of the suits only catered to Kylie's body type.

After years of forging a name for herself in the business industry, mogul Kylie has clearly hit a snag with Kylie Swim. Thanks to TikTok and other social media platforms, Kylie's consumers can sound off about her products and business ethics. Because Kylie's foray into fashion with Kylie Swim was met with honest criticism, Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans can look out for what consumers have to say next about Kylie Baby.
