From bonding with Meredith Grey to learning more about her biological family, Maggie experiences a lot after taking a job at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. From the tough moment when she says goodbye to her mom to some of her romantic life's ups and downs, Maggie has many stand-out Grey's Anatomy episodes.

10 "Everything I Try To Do, Nothing Seems To Turn Out Right" (S10, E23)

Fans are introduced to Maggie in this season 10 episode as Cristina Yang is trying to find a replacement for herself. While Cristina has positive and negative qualities, she can see Maggie's capability and intelligence and knows that she's the right person.

This is truly the beginning of Maggie's powerful and incredible story on the show, but since Maggie hasn't gotten the chance to connect with her coworkers yet, it's not quite as impactful as some other episodes.

9 "Nothing Left To Cling To" (S16, E1)

Not every viewer could get on board with Maggie's romance with Jackson Avery. They may have a love of medicine and desire to help people in common, but fans feel that they just aren't well-suited.

That's why this season 16 episode is one of Maggie's most solid storylines, but it's not the absolute best episode of hers. It's interesting watching the Maggie/Jackson break-up since so many people wonder about why this relationship began in the first place, and it makes sense that they feel that they're just too different and need to move on.

8 "Drawn To The Blood" (S15, E24)

When fans look back on why Maggie and Jackson's love story comes to a natural conclusion, this season 15 episode serves as a good answer. The couple goes camping but Maggie has a tough time as she just doesn't enjoy it.

Maggie ends up getting bitten by so many bugs that she struggles to have fun, and Jackson seems frustrated as he seems to really enjoy getting out in nature and spending time in the great outdoors. This storyline is meant to explain that they don't have much in common, and it does that well.

7 "Tradition" (S17, E15)

Meredith and Richard's heartwarming relationship is a powerful part of Grey's Anatomy, and once Maggie joins the hospital staff, she learns that Richard Webber is her biological father. Fans also enjoy watching these characters connect with each other.

In one of Maggie's sweetest episodes, she and Winston want Richard to officiate their wedding, which means so much to Richard. This feels like a culmination of everything that Richard and Maggie have been through and it feels like the right decision.

6 "Games People Play" (S14, E14)

While this season 14 episode might not be wildly dramatic or as powerful as some others, it's still worth a mention as Maggie learns that her Tinder date, Clive Johnson, is married.

This episode has become more memorable as time goes on because it shows how long Maggie searched for a partner before meeting Winston Ndugu. While Maggie is in pain here after learning Clive's secret, she realizes that the path to true love can have many ups and downs and hilarious moments, and fans appreciate that the show deals with the tough parts of dating apps.

5 "When It Hurts So Bad" (S12, E16)

Meredith's life is tragic, and it's great that she has Amelia Shepherd and Maggie in her life. In this heartwarming season 12 episode, Meredith is upset that she has gone on some dates with Will Thorpe, and she kicks him out of her house.

When Meredith goes on a cleaning spree and wants Maggie to join her, Maggie is incredibly understanding and is able to be there for Meredith. This is a crucial episode as it shows viewers how caring Maggie is and how family comes first with her.

4 "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" (S17, E17)

Grey's Anatomy fans have seen everyone's detailed dating lives over the show's history, but there's been something special and meaningful about Maggie's love life.

It's beautiful watching Maggie and Winston get married, especially since Richard marries them, and it's a bright spot in a tragic and heartbreaking season where the doctors fight the COVID-19 pandemic at the hospital.

3 "Puzzle With A Piece Missing" (S11, E2)

When Maggie tells Meredith that Ellis is also her mom, Meredith doesn't think that she's telling the truth. These two characters do grow to love each other but it's definitely clear that they aren't bonding in this season 11 episode.

While there are many episodes featuring Maggie and Meredith connecting on a meaningful level and having a good time, this one stands out as it's sad, a little upsetting, and also feels completely true and natural. It isn't easy for Meredith to let people in and it makes sense that she needs some time here.

2 "Fear (Of The Unknown)" (S10, E24)

When fans look back on Maggie's journey, her realization that her biological mom is Ellis and that Richard is her dad can never be ignored.

The season 10 finale is one of Maggie's most significant episodes since she not only has a new job and the chance to really make a difference, but she's able to connect with the biological family that she might have thought she would never meet. While she missed out on getting to know Ellis, she can bond with Richard, and she's both scared and grateful to be at this place in her life. Richard isn't a perfect Grey's Anatomy character but he loves getting to know his daughter.

1 "Be Still, My Soul" (S13, E18)

In what is Maggie's most emotional episode, she says goodbye to her mom, Diane, who passes away at the hospital.

This storyline is important as it manages to be both tragic and funny, with Diane realizing that she's dying of cancer and telling Maggie that she should enjoy sex. Fans know that Maggie can be shy and quiet, so at first she's embarrassed, but she embraces her mom's conversation. Diane knows how much Maggie loves her and vice versa, and it's impossible to think of this scene without tearing up. Maggie truly feels like an adult in this episode, as she's facing the hardest thing she ever has, and viewers sympathize.
