Fortnite: Every Mythic Weapon in Season 8 | Screen Rant

Mythic Weapons make a return in Fortnite season 8. Once a player lands on the battlefield, they scramble for the closest weapons that spawn around them. For the most part, many of these items are either gray, green, or if a player is lucky, blue rarity. Although, this isn't the loot players want to end the game with. It's solid for starting out, but it pails in comparison to some of the rarer weapons players can find on the battlefield. The best weapons in the game are Mythic and Exotic weapons. Finding these is incredibly rare but worth it.

This season is handling its Mythic weapons a bit differently this time around, players will need to purchase mythic weapons from various NPCs on the map. The new special mythic Venom and Carnage Symbiote weapons, however, only appear randomly at the start of the match. If a player comes across these Mythic weapons, they can use them to grab enemies and pull them closer, or glide for a limited time after jumping off a ledge. These are the only special Mythic weapons this season.

As for every other mythic weapon in Fortnite, players will need to save up a bit of gold to collect them all, and only a handful of NPCs will sell them. This is where players can find them all.

• Carnage Symbiote: Capsule appears randomly on the field.
• Chug Cannon: Players can buy it from The Brat for 400 gold at Fork Knife Food Truck
• Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle: Players can buy it from Pitstop for 400 gold at Boney Burbs
• Mythic Sideways Minigun: Players can upgrade the Sideways Minigun using Monster Cube Parts
• Mythic Sideways Rifle: Players can upgrade the Sideways Rifle using Monster Cube Parts
• Shadow Tracker Pistol: Players can buy it from Dusk for 400 gold south of Primal Pond
• Slone’s Burst Assault Rifle: Defeat Doctor Slone to the north of Compact Cars.
• Venom Symbiote: Capsule appears randomly on the field.

Players can earn more gold by opening cash registers, safes, finding them randomly on the floor, or stealing them from defeating other players. Tons of challenges are attached to collecting gold so it works out for players looking to collect every Mythic Weapon. These are the strongest weapons in Fortnite in terms of damage and range, but do not guarantee the player a victory royale. They still need to work incredibly hard to be the last player standing.
