Ethan Plath is finally addressing the feud between his wife, Olivia, and his mother, Kim Plath, on the new season of Welcome to Plathville. The family's tensions are at an all-time high, and many fans wonder if they will ever be able to forgive one another.

Welcome to Plathville was an instant hit for the TLC network, thanks to Kim and Barry's strict views on life and moral codes. As fans of the show know, the children grew up in rural Georgia, where they were not allowed to have sugar, watch TV, or play video games. They all took part in the family band and wore very conservative clothing. This type of lifestyle left the older children shell-shocked when they ventured out into the real world. Since season 1, a lot has changed for the large family, who is now divided into three households; Micah and Moriah, Ethan and Olivia, and Barry and Kim. At the end of season 2, Ethan and Barry almost came to blows over how his family had treated his wife, leaving Ethan with no other choice but to walk away from them for good.

The hit TLC show is back for its third season, and viewers are ready to see how the family is coping after a devastating fallout. Micah shared an inside look with Us Weekly about what really happened between Kim and Oliva to grow such disdain for one another. The 20-year-old shared that his mother tried to make Oliva's big day about her since it was at the family home, and she felt like she had more control. Micah said, "She probably went a little overboard and Olivia definitely felt that way."

What evidently led to the rift was a whole lot of poor communication between the two women. The wedding took place at the same time as Hurricane Michael and left the family with no power until an hour before the nuptials. Moriah shared that in the days prior, family members were showing their true colors.

The new season kicks off this week, and previews have already showed Ethan still wrestling with the choice of walking away from his young siblings. He expressed to cameras that he was mad he was forced to make that decision, but because his parents didn't trust him, he had no other choice. Season 3 of Welcome to Plathville is sure to be filled with a lot of family drama, and hopefully, a few resolutions.
