The Suicide Squad's Javelin Actor Posts MTV Cribs Style Tour Video From Set

The Suicide Squad star Flula Borg, who plays Javelin in the DCEU film, shares a funny MTV Cribs-themed video from the set. As director James Gunn's first DC movie, The Suicide Squad arrived in theaters and on HBO Max on a wave of eager expectations just two weekends ago. The movie was bolstered by positive reviews, though its box office performance left something to be desired. Regardless of that, though, most agree that The Suicide Squad is far better than Warner Bros.' previous attempt at bringing the comics team to the big screen.

Though he brought back 4 characters from the 2016 Suicide Squad, Gunn largely wiped the slate clean when it came to forming the new Task Force X. This movie's Suicide Squad is made up of some colorful figures from DC lore, such as Superman villain Bloodsport (Idris Elba) and the literally colorful Polka-Dot Man (David Dastmalchian). Included among The Suicide Squad's first team is Javelin, the blonde-haired villain with a cool weapon played by Borg (Pitch Perfect 2). Borg has become one of the MVPs of The Suicide Squad's promotion, posting various behind the scenes pictures and videos.

Borg is keeping up his Suicide Squad promo with his latest social media post, which takes fans behind the scenes of the movie in MTV Cribs style. On Sunday, Borg posted a video wherein he, in character as Javelin, gives a hilarious tour of his trailer from the set of The Suicide Squad. "if you was ever wundering how is a supervillain living then this video it is for you!" he wrote. You can see the video down below.

There's a bit of corporate synergy going on in Borg's video when he references having a "Dobby," as in the house elf from the Harry Potter series. Beyond that, fans will surely get a kick out of his straight-faced approach to revealing a supervillain's lair. In The Suicide Squad, Javelin joins forces with those like Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and Blackguard (Pete Davidson), and he even trusts Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) with the weapon that gave him his name.

To say more about Javelin's role in The Suicide Squad would be to veer into spoilers, though those who have already seen it know all about his arc. Gunn amassed a large cast for his DC movie, and even ahead of its release, he warned fans not to get too attached to anyone. Multiple characters die in The Suicide Squad, and part of the excitement of the movie is seeing it all unfold without any spoilers. Luckily, there are still people left standing at the end should Warner Bros. be interested in a sequel. Stay tuned for more developments on that front.
