The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Who's Sutton Stracke's Ex-Husband?

Who is Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke's ex-husband? When Lisa Rinna introduced the newbie during the Season 10 premiere, she declared, "She's rich, honey, she's rich," as in she's on a whole other level when compared to the rest of the cast. Lisa made that very clear when she said, "She buys couture, and none of these other hoes do." And no, she wasn't fronting. During Sutton's very first scene, she brought Lisa to Domenico Dolce's apartment, as in Dolce and Gabbana. Apparently, the brand sends Sutton a tiara every year for her birthday, among other one-of-a-kind pieces.

Lisa attempted to explain the source of Sutton's income, remarking, "Sutton's ex-husband is into hedge funds, who knows? Like, money stuff, right?" She couldn't be more vague if she tried. According to the queen of QVC, Sutton became "set for life" when she got divorced. She has multiple homes, private jets, and possibly a baseball team or two. Lisa wasn't at-all-clear on the details, but she did make sure to emphasize, "She has a lot of f*cking money."

Who is this guy that is funding Sutton's lavish lifestyle? His name hasn't been mentioned on the show, but Sutton's cast member bio says that she married her childhood friend, Christian Stracke, in 2000. The former couple shares three kids together, a daughter named Porter and sons named Philip and James. Christian works for PIMCO, which is a a global fixed-income fund-management company. Suddenly, Lisa's explanation about him being into "money stuff" seems like a way easier way to explain this man's career. He is also a senior portfolio manager for the company. He has been working in the investment field for 22 years ever since he graduated from the University of Chicago.

Ironically, he is the co-head of PIMCO's BRAVO opportunistic private strategies complex. Of course, the standout word in that description is "Bravo." ET reported that Christian is actually the reason that Sutton went from being a full-time cast member to a friend of the cast. Apparently, Christian didn't want their kids to appear on the show. Maybe he as so much "BRAVO" to deal with at work that he doesn't want the Bravo network to interfere with his family life too. In an interview with ET, Sutton confirmed that she and her ex split in 2016 and that she purchased the space for her clothing store soon after, seemingly implying that she used some of that divorce payout to kick start her dreams.

If Christian doesn't want their three children to appear on RHOBH, it's very unlikely that viewers will get to "meet" him on the series. However, it does seem like Sutton has Christian to thank for her luxuries in life, so he's probably going to be mentioned as the ladies get to know Sutton. He wouldn't be the first Real Housewives ex to provide a storyline without ever appearing on the show, à la Denise Richards and her infamous ex Charlie Sheen or even Harry Hamlin's ex Nicollette Sheridan, who was name dropped a lot last season.

While the other Real Housewives shows thrive because of dramaReal Housewives of Beverly Hills is more about showing off the 90210 lifestyle with full of shopping montages, glam squad sessions, and travels via private jet. Of course, Sutton is going to mention her ex because everyone knows just how nosy these women can be when it comes to finances.
