A man in his 20s is suffering critical injuries after crashing his helicopter at a rural cattle property in Queensland this morning.
Investigators believe the pilot and sole occupant of the helicopter had been mustering cattle at Grosmont, in the Western Downs region, five hours drive north-west of Brisbane around 9.20am.

It's believed the aircraft hit a powerline, before crashing to the ground.
The helicopter was located on a property off Ryals Road and Perretts Road.
Police and paramedics, as well as a RACQ rescue helicopter and LifeFlight rescue crew, were called to the scene.
It's believed the pilot managed to extract himself from the wreckage of the destroyed helicopter.
"He's lucky to be alive," RACQ LifeFlight Rescue pilot Hamish Felton-Taylor said.

He is being assessed for suspected spinal and abdominal injuries as a result of the crash.
Queensland Police's Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
