Bethenny Frankel from The Real Housewives of New York City is being accused of not supporting women, but she's still lifting other females up after dissing Erika Jayne. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika's lawyer is busy clapping back at Bethenny for claims she made against the "Pretty Mess" singer. Erika has had a rough 2021, as she has not only filed for divorce but has been dodging legal issues galore. Now, it looks like a former housewife is taking a shot at the blonde.
The disgraced lawyer Tom Girardi has been accused of embezzling funds meant for the families of victims of Lion Air flight 610. Erika has claimed she has no knowledge of her husband's legal woes, but fans and co-stars are starting to question her multiple stories and poke holes in them. Trustees investigating the issues have found paperwork that shows that Girardi & Keese transferred $25 million to Erika's LLC, EJ Global. Erika is said to have charged large sums on her American Express account, including glam squad charges. Fellow co-stars like PK Kemsley are frustrated with Erika's lack of action.
Even though Erika's lawyers feel that Bethenny's story was just her way of sullying their client's name, fans feel that Bethenny didn't do anything wrong. The CEO and Skinny Girl owner revealed that the 82-year-old lawyer owed her ex-fiance, the late Dennis Shields, $500,000. Bethenny also shared that Tom's money issues were the "worst kept secret." If fans listened to the podcast, they would know that Bethenny actually complimented the "Roller Coaster" singer. In fact, Bethenny didn't say a word against Erika. Bethenny, who won't return to RHONY, spoke negatively about Tom.
Even though Erika's lawyers feel that Bethenny's words were just another sad example of others trying to disgrace Erika's name, Bethenny seemed to be speaking her truth. Sadly, Dennis passed away in 2018, and now the story will most likely be considered hearsay. Bethenny has often been accused of not supporting other women, but these recent allegations may prove to be true. As the story goes, Bethenny and Dennis also had a conversation about Erika's extreme spending with Tom, alleging that he couldn't say no to Erika.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion just taped, and host and producer extraordinaire Andy Cohen shared that Erika spoke openly and answered all of his questions. Bravo viewers are hoping that their questions are answered, but no one is holding their breath. As for Bethenny, she seems quite content with how she shared her story. The Real Housewives of New York City alum would be welcomed back to the franchise with open arms, but it doesn't look like Bethenny will be taking that offer anytime soon.
