Rapper Iggy Azalea wants no parts of the rumors linking her to Tristan Thompson amid his breakup from Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian. The Australia native took to Twitter to blast the "weird fake news" that accused her of hooking up with the NBA player in recent weeks. Tristan wouldn't be the first NBA player Iggy has dated. But this time around, Iggy claims she's not guilty of the charges. The latest rumors against Tristan are not a good look considering his attempts at getting back with Khloe.
Khloe recently denied source reports claiming she had already taken Tristan back after just a few months apart. It was in June when insiders confirmed the two had been broken up for weeks following his latest cheating allegations with model Syndey Chase. At the time the breakup was confirmed, there were reports of Tristan being seen at a party engaging in flirt behavior with other women. Since their split, Tristan hasn't hidden his attempts at getting Khloe's attention. He has left flirty comments on her posts and even ignited an online feud with her ex-husband Lamar Odom. However, Khloe is remaining adamant about their current split and leaning on her family to help keep her mind off her ex. The two still co-parent together, which often fuels the reconciliation rumors. But Khloe says outside of raising their daughter, she has no romantic relationship with Tristan.
Amid their breakup, the recently traded Sacramento Kings player has been linked to a female rapper who already has past dating history with NBA players. "Fancy" hitmaker Iggy Azalea took to Twitter over the weekend to deny recent claims romantically linking her to Tristan. "Very weird fake news making the rounds about me dating a man I've literally never met a DAY in my life…. Like…. Y'all are really that bored?!?!” Iggy said in the tweet. After her followers guessed who she was referring to and named Tristan, Iggy followed up with another message blasting the rumors. “Literally have never even been in the same building as that man. I DO NOT KNOW THAT PERSON," she tweeted. She added that the chatter about her and Tristan is "very, very weird behavior," and sent another shot at whoever is behind the claims. "Making up baseless lies about people for fun is lame because I'm a real person with my own private life that gets disrupted by bullsh*t, so I'm actually annoyed," she quipped.
Iggy has dated former NBA player Nick Young in the past, but they had a messy breakup after Iggy caught the former LA Lakers player cheating on her, which is something Khloe can clearly relate to. This is the second public breakup for Khloe and Tristan following their short-lived reconciliation. She previously broke up with Tristan in 2019 after he got caught making out with Kylie Jenner's former BFF Jordyn Woods at a party. Tristan spent the 2020 quarantine doing damage control and regaining Khloe's trust. After reconciling sometime last year, the pair had plans of welcoming a second child together.
Alas, their baby plans were put on the back burner to Tristan's latest alleged cheating scandal as well as a legal battle with a woman accusing him of fathering her child. While it looked like Khloe was sticking by Tristan's side once again, insiders revealed the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is done for good. Despite the love she still has for him, Khloe knows that Tristan is no good for her and is nowhere near ready to give up his bad boy ways. However, her fans are still hopeful the two might still welcome a second child together.
