Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Adds More Hackable Stuff | Screen Rant

A new Cyberpunk 2077 mod has been released, allowing players to walk around Night City and hack into many more objects than previously coded into the game. While hacking is a popular feature in the new game, this mod will give players more freedom in the ways in which they hack, and what they are able to hack into.

Cyberpunk 2077 is no stranger to mods. From the very beginning of its release, modders have been hard at work trying to piece together certain aspects of the game to make it more lifelike and fun to play than it was in its original state. For example, a mod that improves the pedestrian AI has been making the rounds amongst players, trying to make the strange NPCs that roam the game a bit more realistic. Another mod allows players to change their hairstyle within, something that wasn't previously done. Meanwhile, this new mod improves the subtle art of hacking within Night City.

The City H4ck mod allows players to unlock and open any door within the game and turns on or off any device that is found in the city. The mod also allows for players to open car doors from a distance, detach vehicle parts, open or close vehicle windows, and more. The only issue with this is that the mod doesn't allow players to infiltrate doors that are permanently locked in the game, as they do not register as doors and can't be opened in general. However, there is another mod that is related to that which can allow people to transport themselves to the other side of those doors, letting them explore areas that are usually entirely unexplorable.

With how buggy and glitchy the game's launch was, it's no surprise that Cyberpunk 2077 has a bustling mod scene, with players constantly using these mods to update their game and make it a bit easier and better to play. Fans have taken to modding even the minimap, so truly no stone has been left unturned when trying to change the game from its original form. However, this mod does seem like it's more for fun and accessibility rather than actually fixing the game, unlike many other mods online. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that it's still entertaining to be able to access practically anything now.

Fans can only hope that this mod won't accidentally also cause NPCs to explode as another mod has done. The last thing V needs is for him to hack into a car only for a poor pedestrian to get blown to smithereens on the sidewalk nearby.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, Stadia, and both generations of Xbox and PlayStation.
