The sign of Aquarius is a sign of intellectualism, independence, creativity, and originality. They love to create art and they love to explore the art that has been created by others, whether that's in classical art, literature, television, or film.
But, while those born under the sign of the water bearer love creativity in general, that doesn't mean that they appreciate every single aspect of the creative world. For instance, some characters they might love and deeply relate to, and others they might loathe. So with that said, which DCEU characters do Aquarians relate to, and which don't they understand?
10 Relate To: Enchantress
As the zodiac progresses further into it's cycle, the signs get further away from the earthly realm and closer to the mystical realm. So as the second to last sign, Aquarius is a sign with a deep connection to magic.
Ergo, if they can relate to any one of the villains of the DCEU, it is the inter-dimensional being known as Enchantress, a witch so powerful that her own followers locked her away out of fear for her magic.
9 Won't Understand: Joker
Aquarius is known as the sign that loves independence and uniqueness more than almost anything else, both in themselves and in other people. So when it comes to the Hot Topic lunatic known as the Joker, his over the top poser persona will immediately put them off.
They won't be able to empathize with him at all, and they will feel a lot of second hand embarrassment at his trying too hard to be unique.
8 Relate To: Queen Hippolyta
As has already been made clear, Aquarians are extremely independent and very mystical, so someone who is the queen of her own unique dimension is something that an Aquarius will love.
And while Aquarians can be very compassionate, they're an air sign, which means they value intellect over emotion. Hippolyta is a character with a knack for making the smart decisions and not letting her emotional reactions get in the way.
7 Won't Understand: Rick Flag
As such a free spirited sign, the Aquarians of the world have no interest in things as regimented, rigid, and traditional as the military. If they want to get something done they want to figure it out in their own way, which can also mean that Aquarius is not always a great team player.
So with that in mind, it's clear why Aquarius will have trouble relating to a character like Rick Flag.
6 Relate To: Harley Quinn
While Joker (at least the Suicide Squad version) seems like an over the top, affected act, Harley Quinn seems to be exactly the person that she looks to be on the outside.
Like a classic Aquarius, Harley can only exist in the world by following the beat of her own drum, and although her outrageous appearance and behavior draws an enormous amount of attention, she doesn't care either way. The only thing that matters to her is being herself.
5 Won't Understand: Huntress
Many Aquarians can be natural loners like Huntress is, but if they ever went on a lifelong mission for revenge, they wouldn't go about it in the same way that Helena did.
The severe and strict training that Huntress went through would be intolerable for an Aquarius, and instead of going for something as simple as becoming an assassin, Aquarius would want to come up with a completely off the wall game plan.
4 Relate To: Black Canary
It's very easy for Aquarius to relate to someone like Dinah Lance, because while they have a strong sense of morality that they will follow if they must, they don't go out of their way to find conflict, and they'd much rather create art than create violence.
Aquarius would also have a knack for vigilante justice, or they would at least have an easier time with it than following the letter of the law.
3 Won't Understand: Lex Luthor
Lex Luthor is one of the biggest villains in the DC universe, so hopefully not many people can relate to him easily. But Aquarius will have an especially hard time understanding him, because his goals of world domination and destroying Superman are completely foreign to them.
Aquarians rarely invest that much of themselves into what other people think or do, so they wouldn't care about controlling them or defeating them either.
2 Relate To: Batman
Batman might be the easiest DC hero for Aquarius to relate to, because while he spends his days pretending to be the vapid and over-privileged playboy Bruce Wayne, by night he is the loner weirdo who is trying to save the world in a manner that no other person would even imagine.
Bruce is also excellent at prioritizing his thoughts and strategies over his emotion, which will speak to an Aquarius deeply.
1 Won't Understand: Superman
Aquarius might often find themselves feeling alone and misunderstood, but they aren't really bothered by that, and they certainly wouldn't let that torture them in the way that Clark Kent does.
Being bland is also an Aquarian's worst nightmare, so if they were to live a double life, they would never create a public life that is as boring and strait-laced as Clark Kent's.
