RHOA: Cynthia Bailey’s Most Memorable Moments On The Show

Cynthia Bailey isn't an original The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member, but she has cemented herself as one of the pillars of the Real Housewives franchise thanks to her memorable moments on the show. Cynthia is a model who is known for her beauty. However, during her scenes in the series, she proved that she's more than just a pretty face. From drafting friendship contracts to showing off one glam look after another, here's what Cynthia will be remembered for long after she's departed from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

On Monday, September 27, Cynthia took to Instagram to announce that she wouldn't be returning to RHOA for the upcoming season 14. Speculation around Cynthia's exit has been making the rounds for some time now, but the model just made her retirement official after more than a year on the reality series. Cynthia feels that it's time to move forward and she's teased that she has big plans for the future.

From season 3 to season 13, Cynthia became an integral part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise. While she appeared on reality TV, Cynthia fell in and out of friendships and got into some nasty altercations. She also got married, divorced, and married again. Cynthia is an unforgettable Atlanta housewife, and these are her most remarkable moments.

Cynthia's friendship with original Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes was one of the most emotionally turbulent relationships of the series. When Cynthia made her television debut, NeNe didn't have many buddies among the cast. After just getting to know each other, Cynthia made the momentous decision to write up a friendship contract for her and NeNe. Once they signed, Cynthia and NeNe embarked on the most prominent The Real Housewives of Atlanta friendship. Cynthia was mocked for mixing business with friendship and ultimately burned the contract after a fallout with NeNe. However, her devotion to her pals is generally impressive.

Cynthia isn't known for being an aggressive housewife, which makes her physical altercation with Porsha Williams all the more notable. During the demise of her marriage to Peter Thomas, Cynthia seemed less emotionally stable than usual. An untimely mix of alcohol and emotional turbulence resulted in one of the most unpredictable fights in the RHOA franchise. After Kenya Moore threatened to throw Porsha's friend Shamea Morton off of her boat, Porsha grew irritated. Porsha accidentally referred to Cynthia as a "b****," in a tone that the model didn't appreciate. When Porsha tried to explain that she didn't mean it in an offensive way, the argument escalated. Ultimately, Cynthia put an end to the quarrel by kicking Porsha in the stomach.

Cynthia might not be the most dramatic The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, but she is undoubtedly the best at serving a look. While other housewives were busy screaming about their adversaries and delivering shady reads, Cynthia was typically minding her business and looking gorgeous on Andy Cohen's couch. One of Cynthia's best reunion looks was her Morticia Adams-inspired gown and sleek hair from the season 5 reunion. The dazzling Barcelona-themed dress that Cynthia wore for the season 10 reunion also stands out as one of the most stunning outfits worn at a Real Housewives reunion. The Atlanta housewives will be hard-pressed to find another star as fashionable as Cynthia.

In addition to being a superb friend and model, Cynthia stands out as a spectacular mother. Fans had the pleasure of watching Noelle Robinson grow up over Cynthia's 11 seasons on RHOA. One of the best moments between Cynthia and her daughter came when Noelle shared information about her sexuality.

On the Bravo franchise's season 12, Cynthia had a conversation with Noelle about her sexual fluidity. With her response, Cynthia proved to be an ally and caring mother: "I just want you to be happy, Noelle. If you meet an amazing young lady, that's a blessing... As long as they're good people and they love and support you." Cynthia added, "It makes me excited that Noelle feels like she has a safe space to share... Love is love." Cynthia's warmth and energy will be missed but never erased. She's a part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta legacy.
