Bollywood: The Hills: Brody Was Hurt After Finding Out About Ex Kaitlynn’s Pregnancy

Brody Jenner was hurt when he found out his ex and The Hills: New Beginnings castmate Kaitlynn Carter was pregnant. The former couple began a relationship in 2014 and got engaged two years later. In 2018, the pair traveled to Bali, where they said their "I do's" in a private, intimate ceremony. However, their marriage was never legalized in the United States. Therefore, the couple never got legally married. A year after the ceremony, the reality TV couple announced their split.

Viewers saw the ups and downs of their relationship during the first season of the MTV reboot and how the bad times slowly affected their love for one another. Shortly after the pair decided to called it quits, Kaitlynn was spotted on several occasions hanging out with singer Miley Cyrus. The two even headed to Italy together for a short romantic getaway. However, their fling only lasted for a month, and both ladies moved on with other people.

During Wednesday's episode of The Hills: New Beginnings, the 37-year-old opened up about his real thoughts regarding Kaitlynn's pregnancy. He admitted he was upset over his ex sharing her news with their co-stars before him. "Of course, it’s hurtful to see all of these other people that seem to know that she’s pregnant and not me," Brody revealed in one of his confessionals, as reported by Page Six. "A baby was such a big part of our relationship and talk in our relationship." While he understands he shouldn't be the first one to know, Brody believes he should have been "in the top 10."

Kaitlynn announced in June via an Instagram post that she and her boyfriend of over a year, Kristopher Black, are expecting their first child together. After Kaitlynn found out she was pregnant, she was apprehensive to tell her ex about her baby news due to past conversations the pair had together about having children while they were dating. "It’s just a big thing to share with somebody," she said in the episode. "It feels like one final nail in the coffin." Viewers will have to wait until next week to see how Kaitlynn will address her pregnancy with Brody, as this week's episode ended on a cliffhanger when the pair finally sat down to speak about her pregnancy.

Next time, The Hills fans will find out how Kaitlynn addresses her pregnancy with Brody and his thoughts on her baby news. Even though Brody was hurt by Kaitlynn not letting him know about her pregnancy earlier, ultimately he is happy for her. They are both at ease with their current lives and are happy they were able to maintain a friendship.

The Hills: New Beginnings season 2 finale airs Wednesday, August 4 at 10pm on MTV.
