90 Day Fiance: Cast Members Who May Never Get Over Their Exes

When it comes to 90 Day Fiancé franchise stars who broke up with their partners, lost love can cast a long shadow, and we're about to talk about the franchise celebs who may still pine for their exes. In the original series and its multitude of spinoffs, viewers see some cast members who seem to hold onto romantic memories, even though their relationships didn't go the distance. While some of these reality stars have tried to move on, there are signs that they may still be living in the past.

The franchise began with the stories of Americans who fell in love with people from other countries. They initiated K-1 visa processes in order to bring their international partners to the USA. As the OG show became a global phenomenon, the franchise began to expand, covering other scenarios. Americans moving to their partner's countries were featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Franchise alums getting back into the dating game were shown on 90 Day: The Single Life. On that spinoff, lovelorn reality stars get a chance to try for romantic happiness again, just like Big Ed Brown did with Liz. However, some of those celebs (and other alums) may still be wishing that they could have found lasting love with the partners who got them into the franchise in the first place.

Moving on isn't always easy, especially when reality fans keep reminding franchise stars about their pasts with other partners. The franchise fanbase loves to weigh in on the relationships shown onscreen, whether those relationships succeed or fail. On social media and in the press, there is plenty of commentary about 90 Day Fiancé franchise exes. It's safe to say that franchise stars and alums see this commentary. It may actually make it harder for them to leave the past behind.

Thanks to her turbulent relationship with Mohamed Jbali, Danielle Jbali brought high drama. Danielle, whose style has changed over the years as she's evolved as a person, seemed to want her partner so much more than he wanted her. When they broke up, she went ballistic. While many franchise fans considered Danielle extremely gullible for believing that Mohamed loved her, she seemed distraught when he left her. The couple divorced in 2017.

After their breakup, they didn't talk for three years, until they spoke during an episode of 90 Day: The Single Life. Danielle is satisfied with the apology that she got from Mohamed on the spinoff, but she may still have regrets. She may also be romanticizing their relationship again, although it's just a friendship now, as she now believes that he really wants to be close to her. Danielle still uses the last name Jbali. Yes, he's married to Vanessa Guerra now. Yes, he seems as happy as can be. However, there are fans who wonder if Colt will ever truly get over his ex Larissa Lima, who definitely added a lot of spice to his life. Some fans thought that Larissa loved Colt only because of what he represented, which was a chance at the American Dream. When he failed to drum up enough cash to finance her grandiose dreams and glam desires, the relationship lost its shine.

Colt used to rave about Brazilian Larissa's beauty. She seemed to be his ideal woman. Now, he's with Vanessa, but he's been known to talk about his ex. In late January of this year, he dissed Larissa by saying he couldn't "keep track of" her plastic surgery procedures, according to Us Weekly. Why does Colt keep mentioning Larissa? Is it to drum up publicity, or a sign that he's not quite over her? Fans just don't trust Colt, even when he shows off his wife on Instagram, as he did below:

Big Ed is trying to find his perfect match and offending franchise fans while he does it, but there are clues that his ex Rose is still on his mind. Some fans want him canceled for berating Liz from 90 Day: The Single Life during a phone call. With Liz, he tried to make the relationship serious way too fast, and viewers could feel the doom brewing. That relationship is now over.

When it comes to Rose, Big Ed has watched her rise to prominence after the show. She's become a stunning model and a powerful Instagram and YouTube influencer. He's seen her come into her own and tried to apologize to her for the way that he treated her. It's quite possible that he has regrets and would do things differently if he could go back in time. However, no one can unring the bell. Big Ed must live with the consequences of lying to Rose about his vasectomy when she wanted kids and putting down her personal hygiene and grooming. He posts a lot on IG, and a fan commented on the recent post below, saying, "get fit but we know who you are inside."

Ashley Martson, who is proving critics wrong lately, fell in love with a younger guy, Jay Smith, believing that she'd found her true love. She was head over heels for Jay, but the red flags were soon waving in the breeze. In fact, they were whipping in the wind. Jay gave off player and user vibes. He did cheat on Ashley. Repeatedly, she forgave Jay for his misdeeds, trying to hang onto the love that meant so much to her. However, after filing for divorce twice and then changing her mind, she decided to finally end it for good. She filed for divorce a third time and followed through.

While Ashley has put that relationship behind her, it's safe to say that Jay left a permanent imprint on her heart. When it comes to Jay, Ashley felt the sting of unrequited love and dashed hopes. Today, Ashley is 35 and building her post-Jay life, as seen below:

Franchise fans could practically feel how much Ashley loved Jay during 90 Day Fiancé season 6. Her heartbreak over his infidelity was searing. Now that she's finally gotten divorced, she is in a better place, but there may be a part of her that will always adore tattoo shop owner Jay, even though she definitely shouldn't.
