Bollywood: Harry Potter: The Worst Thing About Each Hogwarts Student

The fact that JK Rowling implies that basically every adult witch and wizard in the UK attended Hogwarts, suggests that the school must have an exceptionally large population. When you actually see things like the start of term feast, it becomes clear that the school doesn’t house nearly as many students as you might expect.

This small population all know each other, and they all know that some of their fellow students are much worse than others. We’ve selected a few of the most important Hogwarts students and figured out their worst traits.

11 Harry Potter: Moody

While Harry was everyone's hero throughout the entire franchise, there were certainly times we got sick of him. Unlike his friends, he seemed almost unable to make a joke.
We see him properly laugh less than 10 times because, most of the time, he’s just trying to figure out how to pull off some sort of scheme.

10 Hermione Granger: Stuck-Up

In fairness to Hermione, she actually is the brightest student in Hogwarts. This gives her the right, to an extent, to be proud of her intelligence and achievements.

However, quite frequently, she uses her intellectual gifts as a way of bragging and expecting things to go her way.

9 Ron Weasley: Rude

Hermione and Harry might have their problems throughout the series, but Ron is the only one of the main three who suggests that there might be a rather unpleasant man lurking beneath the surface.
He gets angry for Harry about the Triwizard tournament, he shows off his new girlfriend just to make Hermione jealous, and he stormed off during the Horcrux hunt.

8 Seamus Finnigan: Explosive

Seamus Finnigan might have gotten angry at Harry and refused to believe that Voldemort had returned, but there is one element of Seamus’ personality that overshadows that.
His “particular proclivity for pyrotechnics” (as McGonagall puts it) actually makes him a little dangerous to be around.

7 Draco Malfoy: Threatening

For the first few Harry Potter films, we are supposed to believe that Malfoy is plain evil. Eventually, we find out that he is actually just scared and doesn’t seem to be evil, deep down.

Even so, he detested Ron because of his blood status and was obsessed with threatening just about everyone who he deemed inferior: “My father will hear about this!”

6 Crabbe And Goyle: Evil

While Crabbe and Goyle are shown to be supremely unintelligent and simply following the orders of Malfoy, it is eventually revealed that the balance of evil might actually be the other way around.
In The Deathly Hallows, we see Goyle shoot a killing curse straight at Hermione with no regard for anything else. Ruthless.

5 Colin Creevey: Annoying

Colin Creevey obviously meant well, but his presence in The Chamber Of Secrets didn’t really give him a character. He was just a young child with a camera, obsessed with getting Harry’s autograph.
He didn’t do much other than seem overly-happy and act in quite an annoying way while on screen.

4 Luna Lovegood: Confusing

Most Hogwarts students don’t exactly see eye-to-eye with Luna because she is very, very weird. Her strangeness is endearing, and one of the reasons fans love her character so much.

The issue with her is that being around her must just be so confusing. She seems great, but imagine trying to have a real conversation with her, while she’s daydreaming about a magical creature that probably doesn’t exist.

3 Lavender Brown: Clingy

Before The Order Of The Phoenix, Lavender Brown was portrayed as black. Obviously, her recasting is a pretty terrible thing, but we can’t be mad at the character herself for it.
What we can be annoyed about, however, is how unbearably clingy she is throughout the whole film. We can barely get any Ron moments that don’t have her giggling away to his right.

2 Percy Weasley: Entitled

There is a good reason why Percy Weasley was disliked by almost everyone at Hogwarts (and half of his family for a long time).

Despite the rest of his family being incredibly nice and accepting, Percy decided he wanted power and respect. As such, he had no light side and spent all of his time acting like he was superior to everyone else, especially when he was made Head Boy.

1 Neville Longbottom: Stressed

Everyone loves Neville Longbottom. His kind-hearted, loving nature turned him into a fan favorite, and seeing him develop from a timid child into a brave man who had a very direct impact on the death of Voldemort was great.
However, in those first few films, he just looked so stressed and worried all the time. Whether he was neglecting his earmuffs or worrying he had killed Harry with Gillyweed, it must have been exhausting to spend a day with him.
