Winter Storm Dumps Several Inches of Snow in Parts of New England

An extended winter storm on February 13-14 left upwards of a half-foot of snow in parts of New England, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported. At Boston’s Logan Airport, 5.9 inches had fallen as of Monday morning, only two days after the city registered a record 59 degrees Fahrenheit (15 Celsius) on Saturday. Nearby areas saw more than 7 inches, while parts of Rhode Island tallied more than 10 inches.
