People were lined up before 10 am outside Washington’s Anacostia Neighborhood Library on December 22, after it was announced that free at-home rapid antigen COVID-19 testing kits would be distributed starting at noon. The library was one of eight public libraries in the capital where residents could pick up free kits that day.
