The Blind Auditions are now over on The Voice season 21, and week 3 featured a lot of very talented singers who landed a spot in the teams coached by Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, John Legend, or Kelly Clarkson. Most viewers have loved watching Ariana as a coach on The Voice so far. This show has always featured certain different coaches sitting atop the red rotating chairs, but Ari has been a true breath of fresh air.
A total of 18 singers landed a spot in a coach's team during week 1 of Blind Auditions on The Voice season 21. Collectively, the coaches then added 15 more singers to their respective teams in week 2. So far, a few auditioners have earned themselves four-chair turns from the coaches. In turn, Blake, Kelly, and John have been pretty competitive this year due to the addition of Ariana, who's a massive pop star right now, as a coach.
Unsurprisingly, the final week of Blind Auditions on The Voice showcased yet another batch of incredible singers who all have enormous potential. This week, 15 contestants landed a spot in one of the teams and will advance onto the next round. Blake has brought Manny Keith, Libianca, and Tommy Edwards into his team. Team Ariana now also includes Ryleigh Plank, Sophia Bromberg, and the trio known as KCK3. John picked KJ Jennings, Sabrina Dias, Brittany Bree, and Shadale to join Team Legend. Meanwhile, coach Kelly added five new singers to her team: Jershika Maple, Xavier Cornell, Wyatt Michael, Aaron Hines, and Parker McKay.
Now that the Blind Auditions are behind the four coaches, Kelly, Ariana, John, and Blake will have to prepare their mentees to go head to head in the Battles round on The Voice season 21. Each team currently has 15 singers, but there will only be eight contestants in each team by the end of the Battles. Then, these competitors will have to face off in the Knockouts. For season 21, Ed Sheeran will serve as the mega mentor who will help the singers do their very best in the Knockouts round. Only after the Knockouts will the remaining contestants finally get to sing on the main stage of The Voice live shows.
Thus far, The Voice season 21 has already been an incredibly exciting season full of great performances and hilarious banter between the coaches. Ariana has been a great addition to the show and has felt like a natural since day one. It is unlikely that Ari's busy schedule will let her keep doing the show every year, but who knows - maybe she'll have so much fun that she'll make it happen.
The Voice season 21 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
