Beyond the logo design, Marvel Studios has yet to unleash a poster for the Spider-Man: No Way Home film; one Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered player remedied that in the game's Photo Mode. Spider-Man PS4's Photo Mode proved rather impressive upon release, boasting standard features such as filter options, time of day settings, poses, and selfies. Insomniac Games even equipped the mode with emojis and stickers for an added bit of creative flair.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales upped the ante in a few key ways, specifically with regards to the addition of adjustable light sources. The extra features allows players to add three different light sources to any shot, thanks to spheres and spotlight tools. And to the delight of many a video game photographer, these very same tools made their way to the remastered version of Marvel's Spider-Man on PlayStation 5. Naturally, fans continue finding ways of exploring all the Photo Mode has on offer.
Twitter user and artist Fergi21 recently shared a piece of art they put together in Spider-Man Remastered's Photo Mode. This isn't just any old photo of the web-crawler, though. Fergi21, specifically, designed the image with Spider-Man: No Way Home in mind, creating an impressive-looking poster in absence of an official one from Marvel Studios and Sony. The Photo Mode-designed poster proved so incredible, in fact, that developer Insomniac Games took notice and retweeted the artist's post on social media. Check it out in tweet linked below:
What makes the fan-made photo extra special is that it doesn't just make use of one single Spider-Man suit from the game. Rather, the artist spliced together an image that borrows from outfits worn by Miles Morales and actors Tobey Maquire, Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland, which is fitting given Spider-Man: No Way Home's multiversal premise.
Spider-Man Remastered launched in November alongside Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PS5 players who purchased the Ultimate Edition. In December, PS5 owners were fortunately able to pick up the remastered title separately. The success of Insomniac's Marvel titles can't be understated. Spider-Man PS4 has moved over 20 million units worldwide. And, as of July 2021, Miles Morales had shifted an impressive 6.5 million copies across PS4 and PS5. The hype surrounding the recent reveal of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 suggests that come 2023, PlayStation Studios and Insomniac Games will have yet another meteoric success on their hands.
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is available to play now on PS5.
