Gal Gadot wished her Red Notice co-star Ryan Reynolds a happy birthday with a special behind-the-scenes image. Red Notice will premiere in limited theaters on November 5 followed by its Netflix debut on November 12. Red Notice stars Dwayne Johnson as FBI profiler John Hartley alongside Chris Diamantopoulos and Ritu Arya. It was directed by frequent Johnson collaborator Rawson Marshall Thurber, who previously helmed Central Intelligence and Skyscraper.
In the film, Ryan Reynolds plays Nolan Booth, the second most-wanted art thief in the world. He's hired by Hartley to help take down Gadot's character, Sarah Black, also known as The Bishop, who's the first most-wanted art thief in the world. Their attempts to prevent her from stealing the invaluable Cleopatra eggs are destined to go hilariously awry.
Ryan Reynolds turned 45 on October 23, and Gal Gadot celebrated with a new glimpse at the behind-the-scenes antics of Red Notice. On her Instagram, she posted a behind-the-scenes image of Gadot and Reynolds dressed up and ready for action. The still was taken by Frank Masi, an on-set still photographer who has previously worked on huge productions like Jungle Cruise, Venom, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. It depicts Gadot pinning Reynolds with a massive spear, so she included the cheeky caption, "Don’t you forget- I always got your back." Check out the image below:

The shot she shared is a new angle on a scene shown in one of the first official Red Notice clips as well as the trailer. Given the sheer amount of footage there seems to be from the museum room in question, it's likely a pivotal moment in the film where the trio will be spending a lot of time during their confrontation over the Cleopatra eggs. Gadot certainly seems to have the upper hand in this shot, as well as in every scene from the trailer, so it remains to be seen if the unlikely duo will succeed in their mission.
With her choice of image and caption, Gal Gadot proves that she can harness Ryan Reynolds' inimitable brand of Internet snark just as well as the man himself. Red Notice is gearing up to be the biggest Netflix release of the year. It's not like a film that's teaming Deadpool, Wonder Woman, and Black Adam, wasn't already turning heads. However, if it can capture the dynamic between the two that she's showing off here, it's certain to be a hit.
