Umbrella Academy Season 3 Cast Answer Questions In BTS Video

The cast of The Umbrella Academy season 3 answers burning questions in a new behind-the-scenes video. Netflix's hit comic book TV series has risen in popularity over the course of its first two seasons. Millions of viewers have tuned in to watch the story of the Hargreeves siblings and their efforts to save the world from impending apocalypses. The Umbrella Academy season 2 saw them once again save the day, but the ending teased a very different setup for season 3.

Fans have been anxiously waiting to see something from The Umbrella Academy season 3 and learn more about the story it will tell. The season 2 finale saw the Hargreeves siblings return to the present day only to find their reality completely changed. Their father Reginald Hargreeves is back from the dead and leading a new variation of the superteam, known as the Sparrow Academy. The Sparrow Academy is led by Ben and it will be in The Umbrella Academy season 3 that audiences get a chance to properly meet the team. However, Netflix has done little to promote the upcoming season or tease what is coming next.

As part of the streaming service's global virtual event TUDUM, a behind-the-scenes video of  The Umbrella Academy season 3 was released. The video includes the main cast members Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Ritu Arya answering questions about filming The Umbrella Academy season 3 and teasing what fans can expect.

The BTS video from the set of The Umbrella Academy season 3 doesn't provide any real teases of what is coming next, but it does still offer fans some fun answers from the cast. Many of them talked about what it was like filming the season 2 finale and the surprise that came with the Sparrow Academy reveal. Hopper specifically noted how strange it was since the actors who will play those roles in season 3 had not been cast yet, while Castañeda made some jokes about Justin H. Min's hair style for this new version of Ben.

Since Netflix's TUDUM event was filled with trailers and clips from other high profile shows like Stranger Things season 4, The Witcher season 2, and Cobra Kai season 4, many fans of The Umbrella Academy might be disappointed that season 3 footage wasn't shown. The BTS cast video is still fun on its own, but that likely won't lessen the disappointment from some about no trailer. It might be because The Umbrella Academy only wrapped filming season 3 about a month ago, so there might not be much ready to be shown. At this point, fans will likely have to wait until sometime in 2022 to see actual footage from The Umbrella Academy season 3.
