The Hills alum Kristin Cavallari and country singer Chase Rice are reportedly in a relationship. Before her romance with Chase, Kristin was rumored to be dating a number of different guys in the past year. First, rumors were surrounding her and Craig Conover from Southern Charm and also his co-star Austen Kroll. After repeatedly denying those claims, Kristin was later seen on a number of outings with comedian Jeff Dye.
Even though Kristin was never in a relationship with either of the Southern Charm guys, there was a lot of drama that stemmed from their friendship. Austen's ex-girlfriend Madison Lecroy began dating Jay Cutler, Kristin's now ex-husband of seven years with whom she shares three children. However, the relationship ended before it even began after Jay and Kristin posted an Instagram photo together, subtly addressing the Madison and Jay dating rumors. It seems Madison was only dating Jay to get under Austen's skin. Kristin no longer has to worry about their drama now that she's reportedly with a new man.
A source close to E! News can confirm that the reality star and the country singer have started dating. According to the insider, they both reside in the Nashville area and started spending a lot more time together over the past month. "At the moment, it's still casual. It's new," the source revealed to the news outlet. "She's been to one of his shows already and they're having fun." Neither Kristen, who denied romances with Craig and Austen, nor Chase has yet to address the rumors or confirm the status of their relationship.
The romance does seem quite sudden as the 34-year-old recently ended her relationship with Jeff. The pair were first spotted together at a Chicago bar and later on a Mexican getaway this past March. In May, Kristin confirmed on an episode of E! News' Daily Pop that she is no longer in a relationship and was shifting her focus to herself and taking care of her "babes." Those "babes" the reality star is referring to are her three kids she shares with her ex Jay: Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor. Kristin and Jay announced their divorce in April 2020 after a total of 10 years together.
As for Chase's love life, he has recently been in the press for his past relationships. It was revealed that the 35-year-old was previously linked to Victoria Fuller from Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor. While Chase had no issues with Victoria or Peter, he did take issue with the show for having him perform on one of their dates. According to E! News, Chase said, "To do that to me, it's over the top; it's unnecessary. I didn't expect it," he noted.
Kristin and Chase have yet to confirm the status of their relationship. However, all signs are pointing to the rumor being true. The former The Hills star may have had her fair share of failed relationships, but, hopefully, this one works out. Fans will just have to wait and see if the couple confirms their relationship status.
