Doctor Strange Just Recreated Epic Endgame Scene With X-Men & Avengers

Warning! Spoilers for Savage Avengers #24 by Marvel Comics below

To stop one of the greatest evil sorcerer's of all time, Doctor Strange will summon both the Avengers and X-Men via portals, which is strikingly similar to Avengers: Endgame's final battle against Thanos. In a new preview for Savage Avengers #24 by Marvel Comics, Doctor Strange faces off against Kulan Gath and calls in some serious reinforcements to stop the villain, as he brings Marvel's mightiest superteams in for backup.

One of the most epic scenes in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe was Avengers: Endgame's final battle between the heroes and Thanos. After the Mad Titan proved to be too much for the remaining Avengers to take on alone, Doctor Strange and his fellow sorcerer's opened a series of portals, bringing the recently unsnapped heroes into the battle - including the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and Wakanda's forces, as well as Falcon and Winter Soldier. Having numbers against Thanos, the heroes would beat the villain by fighting together and Iron Man grabbing the Infinity Stones and sacrificing himself to erase the Mad Titan.

In a new preview for Savage Avengers #24 by Gerry Duggan, Patch Zircher, Java Tartaglia, and Travis Lanham, Doctor Strange and the rest of the Savage Avengers are about to have their greatest encounter with Kulan Gath. He has New York City under his control and has the City of Sickles floating in the sky above it. Doctor Strange realizes that his encounter (and killing) of Shuma-Gorath was a distraction so that Kulan Gath could enact his villainous plan. Kulan Gath tells the heroes they need to bend to his will or they will be "slowly annihilated for centuries."

Conan the Barbarian curses at Kulan Gath as Doctor Strange casts a spell to summon some help. He summons the likes of the Avengers and the X-Men, including Thor, Blade, Wolverine, Cyclops, Black Panther, Captain America, and Rogue. Captain America recounts battling Kulan Gath and beating him before while telling Doctor Strange he's not alone in the fight.

The scene is reminiscent of Avengers: Endgame's final battle, as Doctor Strange summons heroes from across the globe to assist him in fighting a huge, world-ending threat. However, in this case, the Sorcerer Supreme not only brings his fellow Avengers, but he also gets some of the most powerful X-men to fight as well. Kulan Gath won't be easy to take down, but with the X-Men and Avengers by his side, Doctor Strange has as good of a chance as ever as ending the villain's reign. Savage Avengers #32 is in comic book stores next week.
