Former 90 Day Fiancé couple Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh have dropped a major hint about their comeback to TLC, but fans are not particularly excited. Season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way introduced Sumit and Jenny’s relationship to fans, and the couple has stuck through thick and thin to still be together in India. Although catfishing, societal pressures and a secret marriage did mar their chances of getting married, Sumit and Jenny overlooked their 30-year age gap to recently get engaged. And now that they’re seeing success, chances are Jenny and Sumit will return with a new spin-off, but why do fans seem disinterested in their spicy Bollywood storyline?
Jenny is somehow looking younger by the day while she continues spending time with Sumit in India since the start of 2020. 90 Day Fiancé fans think Jenny is glowing thanks to being happy, and her real love with Sumit brings a refreshing change from the usually quarreling cast members. Meanwhile, the couple also recently fought back rumors of Sumit getting married a second time, as fans discovered photos of Sumit looking dapper in a suit. Instantly, Jenny posted a lovey-dovey selfie with Sumit and revealed how they usually laugh off rumors of their break-up. They shocked fans by sharing a photo of her ring.
During the finale of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Sumit presented Jenny with a promise ring; they couldn’t get engaged after his mother emotionally blackmailed him with suicide threats. Somehow, Jenny seemed content with it as long as she stayed with Sumit in India. But as per her shocking revelation, the 90 Day Fiancé couple got engaged in November 2020. The couple also tested positive for COVID-19 in April this year during India’s terrifying second wave, and fans grew concerned with Jenny being elderly and Sumit being diabetic. However, the couple not only recovered but are looking healthy, gorgeous and possibly returning to 90 Day Fiancé with their makeovers. “Why are you guys not doing any more tlc we miss you” a 90 Day Fiancé viewer asked Jenny on her Instagram, and she was responded with a cryptic “stay tuned.” Meanwhile, a Reddit user posted this story, with the caption, “If I have to see Jenny & Sumit on one more season - I’m going to die.” Another commenter doubted that Jenny and Sumit are anyone’s “fan-favorite couple.” But fans seem to have become bored of most of the couples that 90 Day Fiancé focuses on lately, including Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva who are shoved down their “throats season after season.”
Fresh faces are hard to find on 90 Day Fiancé lately. However, ones like Jenny and Sumit, who seem to have a genuine romance, are at times favored over ones accused of having manufactured or repetitive drama. Meanwhile, Jenny still being in India may mean she and Sumit will appear on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, which could be the next spin-off TLC airs after the ongoing 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season ends.
