The Italian series Zero features an ensemble cast, so who are the main players and how do you know them? The main Zero cast primarily features young performers, many of whom appear on television for the first time. In supporting roles, there are indeed some accomplished actors and actresses in the April 2021 Netflix release, but there isn't one definitive stand-out name that audiences will recognize from pop culture. Still, the overall acting is impressive, and the series will undoubtedly appeal to worldwide streamers.
Giuseppe Dave Seke stars Omar aka Zero, a talented cartoonist of Senegalese descent who moves from Rome to Milian. He befriends locals from the Barrio section of the city, and tries to save the community by using his invisibility powers to frame a corrupt real estate developer. The Netflix series teases a mysterious origin story but doesn't fully explain the specifics. Seke makes his TV debut in Zero.
Virginia Diop co-stars as Awa, Omar's sister. She has significant vision problems and seems to fully lose her sight when Omar uses his invisibility powers. The Netflix show implies that Awa and her brother are the archetypal Chosen Ones of unknown origins. Diop portrayed Bar Joseph in the 2019 movie Bar Joseph. She makes her TV debut in Zero.
Beatrice Grannò portrays Anna, Omar's girlfriend. She's an architect-in-training, and her father is revealed to be a real estate developer who plots with criminals to lower the value of property in the barrio. Grannò portrayed Amanda in the 2019 movie Wonder When You'll Miss Me and Carla in the 2020 movie The Time of Indifference. She also appeared as Carolina Fanti in the TV series DOC - Nelle tue mani.

Haroun Fall appears as Shariff, a barrio local who initially chases after Omar. He later befriends him and leads a rally to save their neighborhood. In a twist, Shariff's brother colludes with local criminals. Fall made his movie debut in the 2018 movie Arrivano i prof and later appeared in various shorts. Zero marks his TV debut.
Daniela Scattolin portrays Sara, a member of Shariff's crew. She runs her own recording studio and worries about the motives of her closest friends. Scattolin portrayed Nerina in the TV series L'Ora - Inchiostro contro piombo.
Dylan Magon appears as Momo, a member of Shariff's core crew. He's a jokester who gets stabbed late in the season. Magon makes his TV debut in Zero.
Madior Fall portrays Inno, a member of Shariff's crew. He's an aspiring singer and professional soccer player. A subplot briefly reveals that he's trying to gain citizenship in Italy. Fall is a fashion model who makes his TV debut in Zero.
Roberta Mattei co-stars The Virgin, the enigmatic leader of an unnamed organization. She has invisibility powers and befriends Awa late in the season. Mattei portrayed Rhada Ragalan in the 2006 TV series Sweet India and Annarella in the 2016 movie Italian Race.
Giordano De Plano (above) as Bruno Ricci: Anna's father who owns Siranetta Real Estate Agency. Giordano De Plano portrayed Young Dostoevsky in The Demons of St. Petersburg and Vittorio De Grandis in the 2019 TV series The Trial.
Miguel Gobbo Diaz (above) as Rico: Bruno's Cuban henchman who ruins property in the barrio. Miguel Gobbo Diaz appeared as Nakul in the 2015 movie A Holy Venetian Family.
Frank Crudele as Sandokan: Omar's boss, the owner of Sandokan's Pizzeria. Frank Crudele portrayed Big Jim Colosimo in Boardwalk Empire and Boris in Step Up All In.
Giovanni Crozza Signoris as Edo: Anna's ex-boyfriend who appears in the first episode. Giovanni Crozza Signoris portrayed Tommaso Buscetta Giovane in the 2019 festival hit The Traitor.
Livio Kone as Honey: Shariff's brother and roommate who colludes with Bruno's hired criminals. Livio Kone appeared in the 2017 movie Couch Potatoes and the 2019 movie You Can't Kiss the Bride.
