It’s clear by now that 90 Day Fiancé season eight couple Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa are never, ever getting back together. Thanks to Andrew’s manipulative ways and Amira blindly giving in to his demands, TLC viewers predicted their relationship to be doomed from day one. As expected, Andrew and Amira not only broke up way before the finale, but Instagram also showed they were not afraid of calling each other out publicly. However, there are still some fans who believe the relationship was fake, including Jovi Dufren calling Andrew and Amira’s story “bogus” while claiming they “both could be lying.”
Oddly enough, signs of Amira already having left Andrew came forth with the couple’s introduction in season eight. Right after his “big premiere,” Andrew claimed he was a victim of “frankenbiting” by TLC, who made him look “pretty dorky.” However, as fans lashed out at Andrew for the Mexico mishap, he also blamed Amira for hatching the plan and had screenshots to prove it. The fact that Amira could have falsified her being a victim was explained by Andrew plenty of times, and he continues to do so, even with the season ending. Still, Andrew and Amira’s 90 Day Fiancé story started with them genuinely falling in love.
Amira is now rumored to be dating a California artist named Camel Ventura now, which makes sense, as she spoke of finding love internationally on 90 Day Fiancé. The small-town of Saumur restricted Amira, who didn’t feel like she fit in due to her French-Egyptian roots. That’s when she opened an international dating website profile and stumbled upon Andrew, who she messaged, but didn’t hear back from immediately. But Andrew dismissed the many women in his DMs to reach out to Amira, with who the star felt an instant connection. He decided to meet her in her favorite city. Andrew then proposed to Amira within three days of their Las Vegas trip, which was also her first time coming to America.
Before their 90 Day Fiancé disaster, Amira also spent about nine months living with Andrew, on and off. As per Andrew, who recently detailed his and Amira’s relationship timeline on Instagram, they first started speaking in May 2018. Andrew and Amira started calling each other “official” on July 4, 2018. After a few months of talking online, Andrew and Amira finally met and got engaged in Las Vegas on August 29, 2018, following which she came back to live with him in October 2018. The 90 Day Fiancé pair were together till the end of July 2020, as documented in the Andrew-Amira storyline.
Andrew stormed off the set during the Tell-All and claimed online he was only present for Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva’s segment, so perhaps he never got to tell his side of the story after all. That may be why he continues to post screenshots online supporting his claims that Amira was always trying to make him look bad. But if Andrew says his relationship was real, could Amira really have used 90 Day Fiancé to catapult herself into fame? While Andrew’s supporters want him back on reality TV with 90 Day: The Single Life, maybe Amira, owing to her immense popularity, will be the one who walks away with a spin-off.
