Following her firing from Vanderpump Rules, former SURver Kristen Doute is expressing how "nervous" she is about the possibility of never conceiving a child. Now that her Bravo days are behind her, Kristen is looking towards her future and considering motherhood. But she isn't getting any younger, and the thought of her ever-increasing age is eating away at her.
Last June, Kristen and Stassi Schroeder were among four cast members ousted by Bravo due to incidents of racial insensitivity. For Kristen and Stassi's part, they received an onslaught of backlash after former cast member Faith Stowers revealed they called the cops on her in the past and accused her of a crime she didn't commit. With the revelations being made at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement following the death of George Floyd, Bravo moved swiftly in firing Kristen and Stassi, along with newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni after their old racist tweets resurfaced. Since being axed, Kristen has watched her former co-stars conceive and welcome babies. The pregnancy pact hit Lala Kent, Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright, and Scheana Shay. But Kristen, Adriana Madix, and Katie Maloney are still left dodging questions about when they'll finally embark on parenthood.
All the baby news might be getting to Kristen. Her good friend Stassi just gave birth to her newborn daughter Hartford just last week, and now Kristen is taking to her Instagram Story to vent her concerns. “I’ve had really off cycles lately and it’s been making me really nervous because of my age," she explained in a post captured by Us Weekly. "Going in to [the gynecologist], we were not able to do the tests we were hoping for so it really stressed me out and kind of broke my f–king heart, but we did the best we could with what we could do.” Having shared pretty somber news, the former Bravo star followed it up with some more positive news for her followers.
“Good news on those fronts, and we’re just gonna keep track of what we need to keep track of and catch up again in a couple months,” she added. She went on to confirm that while she isn't trying to get pregnant at the moment, she is “hoping to get pregnant but not this minute." The OG cast member went on to share the anxiety she's been having over the idea of conceiving. "It’s just been a lot of anticipatory anxiety for the last two months of the unknown of what was going on with my body,” she explained.
Last May, Kristen appeared on the We Met at ACME podcast, where she talked about how important becoming a mother is for her. While speaking on how “time was ticking,” she acknowledged the “options” she had with freezing her eggs or even adopting.
