Matt James gave his final impression rose on The Bachelor to 25-year-old Abigail Heringer from Beaverton, Oregon. There's no denying that the group of women that was cast on Matt's season is one of the best of all time. Generally, the cast is featuring a lot of women who are not only gorgeous but also smart, hilarious, successful, charismatic, and stylish, to name a few. It's clear that Matt will have his hands full on the show, with plenty of options to choose from. And even during the premiere, Matt ended up having to send home a few great women that he just didn't have enough time to get to know.
It's fair to say that The Bachelor season 25 premiere also had its share of quirky characters that were clearly cast on the show for entertainment purposes, but the producers clearly did a great job at vetting most of the contestants who got cast this year. It also helps that, as host Chris Harrison pointed out, the production team received a record number of applicants wanting to be on a season that would feature Matt James. Nonetheless, Matt's first impression rose went to a beautiful and confident woman who is already a fan-favorite with Bachelor Nation.
Now a The Bachelor superstar, Abigail Heringer is 25 years old and comes from Beaverton, Oregon. She works as a financial manager, but her hobbies include golf, electronic dance music, and being outdoors. One thing that Abigail revealed to Matt James right off the bat is that she has a hearing impairment and therefore reads lips to help her understand what someone is saying. Abigail's goals for The Bachelor are to find a positive guy who is able to connect with her on a deeper level. On her Instagram pictures (seen below), it is clear that Abigail has a lot of friends and is very loved by the people around her, which is always a great trait for a potential partner to have.
Needless to say, Bachelor Nation is already in love with Abigail Heringer, and some are already picking her as their frontrunner. The fans were able to see what Matt James saw in her, which made that first impression rose make so much sense to everybody. Despite only having a few moments to talk to Matt, Abigail was funny, honest, and kind, impressing not only Matt himself but also all of the viewers watching from home.
Still, it is too early to tell if Abigail will go all the way, or if a relationship just isn't in the cards for Matt and her. The fans will keep watching the season to find out.
The Bachelor season 25 airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC.
