Bennett Kirschner from Married at First Sight 11 has kept fans equally entertained with his blossoming love story and artistic lifestyle. The 28-year-old has several trades, including being an artistic director for a theater company, performer, freelance writer, pedicab driver, landscape architect helper, and musician. In an exclusive statement with Screen Rant Bennett provides details on his music and what inspires his work.
The New Orleans season of Married at First Sight has introduced us to a new cast and provided some surprising twists. Karen found out the identity of her husband, Miles, before meeting him at the altar. Brett asked Bennett if his sister was single at their bachelor party. And who could forget the astonishing moment Amelia and Bennett realized they knew each other through a mutual friend. While these storylines are interesting, one cast member has an undeniable talent that has fans talking.
During the Married at First Sight Matchmaking special, Bennett made quite the impression with his quirky persona, his many talents, and the tiny house he resided in, from which he helped build. As we learn more about the artist it's clear his talent has no boundaries. The musician is preparing to release new music with his band, TV Pole Shine, a 12-piece-pop-funk-band (album cover art below; illustrated by Miranda Morris). He took the time to share his process in creating his work with Screen Rant:
"I write my music onto a portable, digital four-track recorder, using nothing but my voice. Generally, my songs consist of a bassline, a melody, and maybe a hornline or a harmony -- they only take 1-2 hours to write from start to finish. Once I've compiled a new stockpile of sketches, I share the most exciting ones with some very talented friends who also have formal musical training, and those friends, if they like the sketches I've brought, will expand and refine these simple ditties into fully formed, booming songs."
