Chloe Veitch was one of the characters on Too Hot To Handle who seemed to really embrace the experience and learn from it. She has taken the lessons she learned on the retreat and applied it to her life outside the show.
From the first episode, Chloe was open about not being the most intellectual person we've ever seen on our television screens. At least she was self-aware, which helped her grow through the experience. She had a friendly flirtation with David Birtwistle. But after an awkward date where they attempted to Lady and the Tramp a strawberry, Chloe decided it was best to remain platonic with David. Then, Bryce Hirschberg arrived and immediately caught Chloe's eye. They shared a kiss, and that was the moment Chloe knew Bryce wasn't for her. When Kori Sampson touched down on the Mexican shoreline, Chloe was intrigued. But after they kissed, Kori asked Francesca Farago out on a date. This didn't sit well with Chloe. After a Yoni workshop, she felt empowered to put Kori in his place after playing with her emotions.
Since Too Hot To Handle, Chloe tells The Sun, “I haven’t had any one-night stands since leaving the house. I have been on a few dates, but I’m happy being single now and feeling empowered. I’m still finding myself." She said she was a "serial dater" and used dating apps like Tinder to boost her confidence.
Chloe revealed that her time on the retreat opened her eyes to how much guys like sex. She said, "I never chose the best guys. I’ve been hurt before and have an emotional barrier up.” Like others who went on Too Hot To Handle, Chloe said she gained a great deal from being a part of the experience. She told The Sun, “Girls, you don’t need a guy to value you, just respect yourself instead - it’s so important.”
For those looking for some type of lesson to take away from Too Hot To Handle, look no further than the Chloe's narrative arc. She refused to settle for a man who didn't value her. David was a good guy but not compatible with Chloe. Bryce was a horndog trying to disguise himself as a cool cat, but Chloe saw through the veil of deceit when they shared a kiss. And Kori was unapologetically a player. Chloe was simply too good for him, as was every woman on the retreat.
