Taylor Spreitler's 5 Best Movies & TV Shows (According To IMDb)

Taylor Spreitler is best known for her role of Mia McComick in the soap opera Days Of Our Lives. Sadly, that show doesn't have a high rating on IMDb that would make it eligible for this list. Taylor has starred in several other productions that have been received much better.

The actress ventured into the film industry when she was a teenager. She has gone on to appear in numerous movies and TV shows. However, her TV shows have been better received by critics and fans than her movies. Here are her 5 best movies and her 5 best TV shows.

10 Movie: The Contractor (3.8)

Danny Trejo hasn't had many lead roles outside the Machete franchise. He's mostly in supporting roles but in this film, he found himself as the main man once again. In the movie, a married couple hires a contractor to remodel their apartment before a charity event.

It soon emerges that the contractor named Javier (Trejo) is out to break their marriage by planting fake evidence of the husband's affairs. Taylor plays McKenzie, the daughter of the couple who ends up getting kidnapped by Javier. This leads to a final standoff between Javier and the couple.

9 TV Show: Casual (7.5)

The comedy Casual revolves around a divorced woman named Valerie who lives with her brother Alex in the same house. The two teach each other how to deal with the opposite sex while also raising Valerie's teenage daughter Laura.

The series streamed on Hulu for four seasons and ended in 2018. Taylor played Valerie's high school friend named Mia for six episodes. Casual was widely praised by critics for its plot and outstanding performances by the cast.

8 Movie: 3 Day Test (4.3)

In 3 Day Test, a dad named Martin Taylor feels that he has lost touch with his children. He wonders why his son keeps communicating with an electronic sign outside his bedroom door while his youngest child watches nothing but faith TV. He thus comes up with a brilliant (or not-so-brilliant) idea.

He asks the family to stay indoors for three days with no power and zero contact with the world outside. The Taylors don't particularly fancy this staycation so they devise ways to survive it. Eventually, the staycation helps them rediscover a long lost bond. Taylor Spreitler plays one of Martin's daughters named Lu Taylor. At least she got to keep her name.

7 TV Show: Bones (7.8)

The hit TV show which aired for a whopping 12 season saw a forensic anthropologist named Dr. Temperance "Bones" team up with FBI agent Seeley Booth to examine murders where nothing but flesh and bones have been left.

In Season 10, Taylor played a woman named Courtney Hodsoll. Courtney ends up discovering that her mother was a drug addict and that she was murdered during a mugging 20 years earlier. All these details are new to her as she had a very different picture of her mother.

6 Movie: Amityville: The Awakening (4.8)

In this supernatural horror film, a girl named Belle moves to 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, Long Island with her sister Juliet, her single mother Joan and her comatose brother James. They do this in order to save enough money to help pay for James' treatment.

However, strange things begin to happen in the house leading Belle to suspect that her mother didn't tell them everything. Her brother even mysteriously recovers from his diseases and Belle soon discovers that they are living in the infamous Amityville horror house. Taylor plays one of Belle's friends named Marissa.

5 TV Show: Law And Order - Special Victims Unit (8.0)

Taylor played two different characters in two different seasons of Law And Order: SVU. In Season 6, she played Chloe Sellers, the sister of an 18-year-old woman named Kaley Sellers who had been kidnapped, sexually assaulted and later murdered.

In Season 14, Taylor made another appearance. She kept her first name as she played a woman named Taylor Culphers in an episode that revolved around the disappearance of an underage girl who had followed her older sister to a party.

4 Movie: Leprechaun Returns (5.0)

Leprechaun Returns is a direct sequel to the 1993 horror film Leprechaun. In the original, a young woman (played by Jennifer Aniston) and her friends stopped a creature named Leprechaun by trapping it in a well. In the modern-day, a group of students decides to vacation in the property, thus reviving the creature.

Lila (Taylor Spreitter) is among the students and she just happens to be the daughter of Jennifer Aniston's heroic character. Together with her friends, she tries to stop the creature once again as well as to find the gold that the creature has come to collect.

3 TV Show:  Criminal Minds (8.1)

In Criminal Minds, a group of FBI agents normally attempt to analyze the minds of serial killers to determine their next moves. Taylor appeared in Season 11 as Riley Desario, the teenage daughter of Paul, the former sheriff of Greenport village.

In the season, a familiar face tries to sexually assault her but she gets lucky and escapes. Later on, she discovers that another familiar face is actually a serial killer. Taylor didn't stay on the show for long but it was a shame really because she was too good.

2 Movie: Girl On The Edge (5.6)

Based on a novel of the same name, the movie follows a troubled teenager named Hannah Green (Taylor Spreitler) who drinks heavily and does drugs. After joining a dating app and lying about her age, Hannah hooks up with a stranger who ends up assaulting her.

Her parents take her to a rehabilitation camp where young girls are taught how to conquer emotional trauma. At the camp, Hannah bonds with other girls as well as a horse named Betsy. Slowly, the movie takes us through Hannah's journey of healing as well as the trauma of her parents.

1 TV Show: Never Fade Away (8.9)

In Never Fade Away, Cassidy Warren, wakes up one morning to the shocking realization that everyone he knew before has forgotten about him.  His girlfriend and his family have no idea who he is. He thus has to rely on Natalie Miller, his only link to his former world, to figure out what happened.

The series received plenty of praise for its suspense and thrills. However, it never enjoyed a longer run due to limited marketing. After the first season, no announcement for a second season was ever made. Too bad. It probably would have been a major hit.
