After the initial sweep of movie-goers got to see the film, the memes flooded the internet pretty quickly. Although it seemed near impossible for Disney to follow up the first film with more great content, they did it anyways. Between Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and the rest of the gang, there were plenty of laughable moments for both the kids and adults in the theater. Here are 10 of the most hilarious Frozen 2 memes.

And yes, there are spoilers!

Updated April 16th, 2020 by George Chrysostomou With the house of mouse releasing Frozen 2 to Disney Plus for audiences to enjoy, there's no better time to look back on some more fantastic memes that only fans of the franchise will understand!

13 Charades Time

Olaf is pretty great at charades but he's nothing compared to Sven. The reindeer is of course one of the few characters in this franchise who can't talk, so he's constantly miming to other people to try to communicate.

This meme is made even funnier therefore when it's actually Olaf that he's imitating. It also of course references the start of the film where all the gang are actually playing charades together, while the status quo is still intact.

12 All That Merch

It's well known that one of the biggest things to come out of the original film was all that merchandise! Olaf especially was a character that fans couldn't get enough of, just because he was so fun and cute!

Clearly the creators behind the sequel wanted to up the stakes and tried to add another character that might be able to surpass Olaf in sales. That of course is one of the elemental spirits who took the form of an adorable, lizard like creature.

11 A Quick Recap

One of the highlights of the film is Olaf's interpretation of the events of the original movie. It's a bizarre moment and one that both Anna and Elsa clearly feel uncomfortable about, considering they are the centre of focus for his tale.

This meme therefore perfectly encapsulates everyone's reactions to this brilliant scene and as a bonus it also references another great animated movie from the past few years!

10 Kristoff's Solo

Nothing could have prepared anyone for Kristoff's solo. When Anna decides to go after Elsa, Kristoff is left behind feeling like he can't get anything right. All he wants to do is tell Anna how he feels, and propose.

Sadly, he keeps putting his foot in his mouth, and the poor guy just cannot catch a break. When he is really deep in the feels, Kristoff delivers something reminiscent of a bad 80's pop ballad...but instead it's so good. Like a true pop star, this scene has a great sappy music video feel, and even the reindeer sing!

9 Olaf and Bruni

Without a doubt the characters who brought some of the most smiles of Frozen 2, were Olaf and Bruni. There is Olaf, who we all know loves sunshine, warm hugs, and basically all the things a snowman probably shouldn't like.

But this second film gave audiences a brand new character to obsess over. While he can't really deliver witty catchphrases, Bruni the lizard undoubtedly delivered lots of smiles. He belongs to the fire element, but he loves all things cold. When he meets Elsa and learns of her ice powers he is on cloud 9.

8 Samantha

Hands down one of the funniest moments of the movie, was Olaf looking for Samantha. In a disoriented moment, Olaf calls out for his friends, as well as Samantha. He then realizes...he doesn't even know a Samantha! It makes this meme that much more perfect.

Who better to blame for your financial stress than a made up woman names Samantha?

7 The Echoing Voice

A huge part of the movie is the mysterious voice that Elsa keeps hearing. Not only is it an eerie voice throughout the movie, but the soundtrack as well.

And given that Disney delivered yet another catchy soundtrack, fans can't help but sing along to the echoing voice throughout the songs. The songs are what bonds the true Frozen fans!

6 Confusing Olaf Moments

Olaf sings a super catchy song in this movie, talking about how many things he doesn't understand now will make much more sense once he is older. He's just started living his best snowman life, and he's got a whole lot to learn!

One of the best parts of watching Disney movies as an adult, is you can catch all of the jokes that might go over children's heads. This song (whether it was trying to or not) was hilarious considering the adults in the room definitely are just as confused as everyone else.

5 The Addicting Soundtrack

Everyone knows the smash hits from the first Frozen by heart at this point. It was a bit of a gamble whether or not the second film could live up to the high musical expectations the first film set.

But of course, Disney did not disappoint and the tracks of the second soundtrack are just as great. "Into The Unknown" has been on repeat for the past couple of days for sure.

4 House Divided

As with any movie, not everyone will always agree on whether or not the ending is sufficient. The ending of Frozen 2 was not sad in the slightest, but the sisters don't get to live together so naturally fans weren't ready for a separation of the sisters.

Luckily, they don't live too far and it seems they are still together quite often. After everything they've been through together, I don't think they will ever be able to be tat far apart.

3 Into The Unknown

Two words. Idina Menzel. "Into The Unknown" is Elsa's intense ballad in which she longs to follow the uncertain, while struggling with keeping everything how it is. She might be content with the ways are things now, but Else also longs to adventure outside of the castle and learn more about where she came from. The song makes it way too hard to not sing along.

With the combination of Menzel's vocals, and the textbook Disney princess heart wrenching melodies, this song is everything you've ever needed. Plus Panic at the Disco got to cover it for the album, so there's a bonus!

2 Lost in the Woods

This is the song we were ALL waiting for. Kristoff's emotional pop ballad really delivers on all angles. Between Jonathan Gross's impeccable vocal range and the actual scene of the song in the movie...what more could we really ask for?

As previously stated, the soundtrack to this movie did not disappoint. And "Lost in the Woods" continues to be a fan favorite.

1 Frozen 2 For Adults

I think it is safe to say that Disney is just as much (if not more) for the adults of the world. And Frozen 2 was no different than any other great Disney movie. There were plenty of humorous moments, even more than the first I might add. Josh Gad's performance as Olaf in the sequel somehow was elevated and even more impressive. He delivered some of the funniest moments throughout the entire film.
