How People Can Turn Into Pokémon (According To Lore)

Since the classic meeting with Bill from Pokémon Red and Blue, the Pokémon series has explored the close connection humans seem to have with Pokémon. Bill's temporary transformation into a Pokémon was only a glimpse into how deep that connection is, however. As it turns out, there are a number of references throughout the games claiming that some Pokémon were previously people.

While Pokémon has spawned some dark fan theories over the years, some of the game's official lore on the topic of human-to-Pokémon transformation can be quite disturbing. This is especially true when exploring the lore surrounding Ghost-types. Here are a few Pokémon that, according to the games, have a human origin.

Some people become Pokémon spontaneously, or by accident. Bill, a Pokémon researcher, became a Pokémon after combining with one during a teleportation accident. While not in the games, the Pokémon anime shows Ash transforming into a Pikachu as an unexpected consequence of a witch's spell. However, both of these incidents are temporary and easily resolved. The lore surrounding the Pokémon Kadabra, by comparison, is a more lasting situation. According to Kadabra's Pokédex entry in Pokémon FireRed, there once was a psychic child who simply woke up as a Pokémon one day.

A number of Pokédex entries in the games identify certain Ghost-types as having originally been people. Multiple games in the series state that Phantump is the result of spirits possessing tree stumps - specifically, the spirits of children who perish in forests. Another example is Froslass, which is said to be the ghost of a woman who met her end on a snowy mountain and was reborn as a Pokémon. The description of the Pokémon Yamask being formerly human, however, is especially eerie. Many Pokédex entries in the series make reference to how a Yamask is the risen spirit of a deceased person, and that the mask they carry represents their previous face. Unnervingly, the games state that this Pokémon even keeps its human memories.

Through both comedic and morbid examples, Pokémon conveys that people and Pokémon are not so different, and that in some cases, Pokémon originated from humans. Clearly, there is more to be discovered regarding the connection between people and Pokémon in the games. Perhaps it is this connection that somewhat explains of the deep, societal bond between them throughout the series, since Ghost-types prove they are connected on a spiritual level.

This is a fantastic question. My experience has rsgoldfast taught me that all you need to do is search for the top currency shops. For RS players, they're extremely lucky because there are a variety of forex trading stores they can choose. To locate these shops, I make use of the Google search engine. For beginners, there may be some uneasy purchases in these stores when you first visit, but you can use the test list to build your confidence.

Gold purchased from rs gold stores have a very low ban rate, and it is much more secure than botting. Be sure to RS gold choose a vendor who is reliable and provides a safe payment method. I would recommend mmogah. This website has been my preferred for more than 2 years. Everything is excellent.
